Same problem over here, european model of the 42ld550-zc wifi dongle wf an-100 wifi is grayed out. Called support and they told me it would not work because there is no netcast in the european models. But in tools option menu 5 there is a netcast tap. Enabled it but nothing. 1. A2A: I cannot imagine why a USB Wi-Fi adapter would have to be specific to a brand of TV. Just borrow a run-of-the-mill USB Wi-Fi adapter and see if it works (preferably not one those very low profile ones, as they cannot have much of an antenna).
