Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's (遊☆戯☆王５Ｄ’ｓ（ファイブディーズ）, Yū☆gi☆ō Faibu Dīzu) is the fifth series in the popular Yu-Gi-Oh! anime franchise. It began airing in Japan on April 2, 2008, and in the US on September 13, 2008. It tells the story of the legendary 'Signers', five duelists with the power to call upon the ancient Crimson Dragon god. According to legend, thousands of years ago the Crimson Dragon sealed away evil monsters and brought peace to the world. Now it is the Signers' duty to resurrect the Dragon and guard against the return of evil.

Where the main series had the 3 Egyptian god cards, and GX has the Sacred Beasts, 5D’s introduces us to the Signer Dragons: 5 Synchro Summon monsters that were Dragon-Type and capable of summoning the Crimson Dragon.

Episode 1 - 'Riding Duel! Acceleration!'[edit]
- [Yusei arrives home, pushing his broken D-Wheel, while Nerve, Blitz, and Taka are sitting inside watching TV]
- Yusei: [Revs D-Wheel loudly to get their attention]
- Taka: [Awkwardly] Sorry 'bout that. Jack's been bugging us after all. And this is the only place the TV'll get reception.
- Yusei: Any card, so long as it exists, has the potential to be useful. Someone who would reject his cards by calling them 'trash' doesn't deserve to call himself a duelist.
Episode 2 - 'Power Insect Deck! Trap of the Antlion'[edit]

- Jack: A duel can't be won by monsters alone. It can't be won by just Magics or Traps alone either. Only with them all joining together as one will they add up. And what you need most of all to amass that victory... [Points at his heart] ...is right here.

- Akiza: [After taking control of Jill's monster] Feel the pain from the blade of betrayal.
- Jill: Witch, this is the last turn for you! There is nowhere for you to flee!
- Akiza: Yes, on this turn... it all ends.
- Akiza: You, knight, who hoists such fabricated righteousness... take the cold flames of sorrow upon your form.
- Jill: Stop! Please, stop!
- Aki: Black Rose Flare! [Black Rose Dragon strikes Jill and he falls to the ground]
Episode 17 - 'Flame Revenger: Speed King - Skull Flame'[edit]
- Tenpei: He reduced his own Life Points to protect his monster?
- Rua: Plus, once he takes that 1,800 points of damage, his Speed Counters... [Looks at Mukuro's unaffected Speed Counter display] ...won't decrease?!
- Mukuro: How's that?! I must be so far in the lead you can't even see me anymore! And- [Turns around to see Yusei right behind him] -HUH?!
Episode 19 - 'Evil Intent: Id, the Super Demonic Lord'[edit]
- Frank: [To Ruka] This is the world of Duel Monster spirits... for you to pull me in like this... you really are a Signer!
Episode 20 - 'Uncompromisable Feelings: My Mission is With My Hometown'[edit]
- Rua: Listen, you guys head home without me. I remembered something I have to do.
- Ruka: What is it?
- Rua: Let's see, what was it again? [Laughs] I'll just have to remember that too! [Runs off]
Episode 21 - 'Vengeful Bomber: Trap of Sorrow, Chariot Pile'[edit]
- Tenpei: Dark Dive Bomber's effect is supposed to deal damage 200 times the level of a released monster...
- Himuro: Ultimate Mine Token's level is ten.
- Rua: That means... Let's see here... [Starts counting on his fingers]
- Ruka: A level of ten times 200 equals 2000 points of damage.

Episode 22 - 'Disclosed Past: The Duel Profiler VS The Black Rose Witch'[edit]

- Kodo: Bring it on! I'll turn the tables on you! You're just a monster who's been abandoned by her own parents!

- Himuro: What do you make of her card? [Referring to Aki's Black Rose Dragon]
- Yusei: There's rejection, and anger, but... there's still something else lying dormant.
Episode 24 - 'Victim Sanctuary: Become the Star Enveloping Destruction, Stardust Dragon!!'[edit]
- [Akiza and Yusei's Dragon Marks glow, and Akiza clutches her arm]
- Yusei: The time for you to change has come. Your pleasure for destruction, that has tormented you all this time... Hasn't that pain... changed into a pain that we, who bear the same mark, all share? The mark that has guided us all... This pain is asking us for something. And to find the answer, we must think on our own.

Chapter 1: Kidnapped
Near the Tops at night, someone was sneaking there. When he got near the wall, he took out a grappling gun and aimed at the very Tops the fired. When it hooked, he started to climb to the top. When he arrived, he walked to the door and with a glass-cutter, cut the glass and walked through the hole. He sneaked quietly through the hall until he reached the door. He opened the door and walked into a baby's room. He sneaked to the baby's crib, where a baby boy was. He picked the baby up.
'You are going to make me rich,' The man whispered.
He then began to sneak back out. But, when he got to the ground, out of nowhere Sector Security appeared. The kidnapper ran off to the sea with sector security not far behind. He then stopped at the edge of the dock and he turned around as the Security trapped him.
'Stay back or I will throw the baby into the sea!' The kidnapper said.
'Don't do anything stupid.' Security said.
'I'm warning you! One more step or I'll do it!' The kidnapper said.
Suddenly, the dock where the kidnapper was standing on collapsed. The kidnapper and the baby fell to the sea, but the baby fell into a floating box and floated away. The kidnapper rose up but the dock board fell on him and knocked him out back into the water. As the baby floated away into the fog, a few of the officers jumped into the sea. A few moments later, they rose up.
'The Kidnapper is gone, and we can't find the baby.' The officer closest to shore reported.
'Keep searching.' The leader ordered.
(Meanwhile)
The box where the baby was in went to the shore of Satellite. When it arrived, three boys passed by. One with orange hair named Crow Hogan, the other with black hair and gold highlights named Yusei Fudo, and the last one with blond hair named Jack Atlas.
'Hey, what's that?' Crow asked.
'That's a baby in the wooden box along the shore,' Jack said.
They started to walk off but suddenly they stopped.
'A BABY IN THE WOODEN BOX?! WE NEED TO HELP HIM!' Three boys said.
They ran back to the baby. The waves were moving the box back out to sea but Yusei grabbed the box and pulled it back to the shore. and Crow picked up the babies.
'Boy, he's heavy.' Crow thought.
'Where did they come from?' Jack asked.
'I don't know but there's a locket around his neck.' Yusei said.
Jack took the locket around the right babies neck, But there was one problem...
'It's empty,' Jack said.
'There is a word on the lid.' Crow said.
Yusei read his locket.
'Leo? Is that this babies name?' Crow asked.
'I think so.' Yusei said as he put Leo's locket on Leo.
'Let's take him to Martha, she'll know what to do.' Yusei said
So they carried Leo well, Crow is, to the cottage where the caretaker Martha lived.
(Some time later)
Yusei, Jack and Crow were sitting on a sofa and Martha sat on an armchair while feeding Leo with a bottle of milk.
'If we don't know where his parents are, we might have to keep him here.' Martha said.
'Well, how hard can that be?' Yusei asked.
'Don't say that.' Jack said.
(Meanwhile)
Leo's parents were in Leo's room with a baby girl.
'Don't worry honey. I promise, we'll find Leo and bring him home.' The father said.
The father took the girl back to her room. When the door closed, the mother picked up a teddy bear, sat on her rocking chair and cried.
'My baby...' The mother sobbed.
